  • Meringue powder is a convenient, shelf-stable substitute for fresh egg whites commonly used in baking and decorating. It’s especially popular in recipes that require whipped egg whites but where raw eggs might pose a food safety concern.
  • Royal Icing recipe: 1000 g Cake S.O.S Meringue Powder; 1000 g sugar; 750-1000 g water (approx. 50°C) Method: Beat all ingredients together using a whisk; Whipping time: Approx. 5 minutes - fast rotation Temp. drying: 120°C Drying time: approx. 50-60 minutes
  • Please NOTE: We recommend using egg whites instead meringue powder when making Meringue Pies or Meringue Cookies.
  • Ingredients: Sugar, Dextrose, Dried Egg Whites (With Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), Cream of Tartar, Algin, Salt, Sodium, Calcium Sulfate, Hexametaphosphate, Locust Bean Gum, Xanthan Gum, Artificial Flavor.
  • Shelf Life: Over 1 year if kept in cool dry area.
